With winter weather in full effect driving has become especially hazardous. There is many things you can do to prepare your vehicle for a winter road trip.
• Make a disaster supply kit
o Water
o First Aid
o Cell Phone
o Nonperishable food
o Blanket/Warm Clothes
o Flares
o Jumper Cables
o Matches
o Battery Powered Radio
• Check your fluids
o Antifreeze
o Window Washer
• Check Breaks and Tires
• Check battery life
• Properly lubricate door locks to avoid freezing
• Avoid using cruise control when driving in the snow
• Give plenty of space between yourself and the driver in front of you
• Ice scraper
